Your.Rentals is looking for a Communication Architect to plan and execute a consistent user experience from the first discovery to becoming an ambassador for our service. You’ll work with words and user interactions - constantly analysing and improving the way our team and software interact with our users.

You’ll be joining our team of motivated people in a mature start-up. We’re located in Malmö, Hanoi, Uppsala, Copenhagen and Buenos Aires. In a flat organisation, you will report to our Growth Manager and work closely with other team members every day. Some travel will be expected.

As Communication Architect, you’ll be responsible for planning, implementing and improving a personalised and consistent communication journey with our users over their lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with our commercial team to set our targets in terms of user goals and behaviour. You’ll work with our product development, marketing, sales and support teams to plan, implement and analyse campaigns and user communication.

We’ll expect you to take ownership of the following responsibilities.

  • Design and implement a consistent communication journey with our users over their lifecycle - with an initial focus on sales and activation.
  • Evolve our tone of voice to make sure it always feels personal and considered.
  • Identify critical moments where our users need our assistance and create proactive communications to solve issues.
  • Test and analyse different communications approaches to resolve blockers in our user journey.
  • Build and manage our article base of help and explainers.
  • Write simple communications content (in English) including our help article base - and manage translations into other supported languages.
  • Own the content and rules based communication in our sales and support systems to ensure our users receive the right communication at the right time.
  • Hold regular campaign briefings and training sessions with sales/support staff and other stakeholders.

Skills and experience

We’re looking for someone both creative and analytical. You find ways to simplify things by making them easier to understand. You have an eye for clear communication and an ear for good writing. You’re ambitious and goal driven, and always put the users needs first.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in communication, online marketing or relevant discipline.
  • 3+ years relevant work experience, with the majority in a start-up or fast growth online business.
  • A strong content and linguistic background and experience.
  • An ability to write consistently and clearly in plain English.
  • Writing consistently structured content with keywords.
  • Designing easy to understand business process flows.

  • Working with off-site and external project team members.
  • Working with multi-language and translations.
  • Configuration and use of behavioural analysis and tracking software.

Personal nature:

  • Able to easily switch between thinking creatively and analytically
  • Curious, creative, analytical, self-motivated and driven by your results.
  • Resilient and seek perfection through iterations.
