Q&A with Philip Cabreus
Co-founder @ Todcare
What are your plans for the future?
Expansion throughout the larger cities in Sweden and the Nordic area. We aim for Todcare to become a natural option for families and companies in need.
Why did you become an entrepreneur?
Instead of helping one patient at a time, entrepreneurship gives you the chance to make a larger impact for the good of society. It's also a tingling sensation to be able to create something of your own which satisfies the fire in our bellies!
Aside from achieving commercial success, what do you see as your startup’s mission?
Our main mission is to help families and companies struggling with problems due to easily managed child sickness. A recent report from Unionen reveals that many parents are stressed and feel inadequate towards their children and employers due to the situation. It's of great importance for us to ensure that sick children get the full attention and care that they need. This is also an equality question since women are the ones who most often has to stay at home.
Describe your perfect day at work.
Definitely a busy day where the work flow gets you into the zone and productivity skyrockets! If we also happen to pass a big mile stone during that same day, it's pure awesomeness.
What is your best advice for entrepreneurs who are just starting out?
Stay hungry, stay foolish!
