About the job

We are looking for a technical co-founder with the ambition to join our team as CTO and start building the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of our investment application. The position starts as soon as we find the right person(s) and will run over a 6 month trial period, to see how well we fit together. If the trial period is mutually successful, we want to keep you as a co-founder and make you a shareholder in the company.

In the role as CTO, you have the opportunity to set the direction of our tech stack, build a great team and develop an amazing product. Your tasks will be very varied and will shift from time to time - sometimes being focused on hands-on development and sometimes be focused on strategic technical decisions.

• be responsible for developing new and improving existing features
• set the architectural and technical directions, and see them through
• write efficient code, keeping object-oriented programming in mind
• participate in all areas of product development and really contribute to the future of both the product and the company
• help maintain and improve code quality, organisation, and automatisation
• be working from the beach, the couch or the coffee shop - anywhere you like really
• contribute to the development of our company culture
• keep an eye on costs

We believe you are

• A skilled developer with documented previous experience working building mobile application preferably in the FinTech space.
• You are familiar with the lifecycle of an Android app project from implementation, launch, publishing to Google Play... 
• ...and maintenance after launch! 
• You have worked with a data backend such as Firebase (or Firestore)
• You are familiar with Google Cloud Services 
• Eager to use your technical skills to do some real impact in the world
• Eager to grow both professionally and personally
• Responsible and able to work independently with ease
• A communicative and technological team player
• A natural problem solver and a goal oriented person with a strong can-do attitude
• A person who enjoys an innovative environment and continuously contributes to it
• Disciplined and motivated enough to be able to work remote
• You have probably studied computer science or Software Engineering or related field at university level.
