Baffin Bay Networks is a Swedish cybersecurity tech-startup based in Stockholm. Launched in 2017, our cloud based threat protection platform protects businesses from cyber attacks, such as DDoS attacks, Web Applications Attacks, malware and exploit code. At Baffin Bay Networks, we believe that no company should be defenceless against advanced cyber threats. We’re currently looking for a Data Scientist or Software Developer with interest in Data Science to join our rapidly growing team.

Our globally distributed Threat Protection Centers analyze, detect and stop malicious traffic, protecting our customers from cyber attacks. The constant flow of data allows us to develop new methods for optimizing the precision and quality of our service, and by analysing network metrics and mitigation logs we get an understanding of our customers current state of health. Based on our analysis we are able to perform adjustments and apply rules in our platform that ensure the online safety of our customers and their Internet facing assets.

Objectives of this Role

You will join the Data Science team and work with development of our product. You will:

• Develop software for detecting and removing threats
• Write code that runs, tests and logs our applications
• Take part in ensuring quality and reliability of these applications

We expect you to be self-motivated and structured, taking full responsibility for your assignments. Furthermore, you will take great part in decision taking and measures that will drive our organization forward. You are expected to be a key-player in our team, providing input and taking initiatives for our use of cutting edge technologies and concepts. Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant degree
