We are building a really cool pricing software, combining rule-based pricing with AI, and now we are seeking a Data Scientist Intern to support our software development and customer deployments within AI/ML. At Price Edge you would have an exciting and unbounded role, which includes working and learning at the same time.

As a Data Scientist Intern at Price Edge, you will work close to our Head of Data Science in order to add more functionalities to our pricing AI as well as setting up new clients and optimizing their learning algoritms in TensorFlow and Keras.

You will have to think both big, in terms of overall approach, and small, in terms of low-level optimisations, to deliver solutions that are reusable, and match the performance required by our customers. 

We are a fast-moving company with quick deadlines, so we are looking for someone that can learn quickly and feel comfortable in a small team. 

Note that this is an unpaid internship position for ~2-4 months, with the possibility to extend to paid part-time, full-time or freelance once completed if mutually satisfied.

Skills & Requirements

We are looking for well-educated and smart people who are curious to do something different. You are passionate about AI/ML and constantly seeking ways to improve. To be successful as a Data Scientist Intern at Price Edge you need the following traits:

• Currently studying or recent graduate in the fields of in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or similar technical field. 
• Proficiency in Machine Learning (e.g., tools, preparing training sets or train classifiers).
• Experience with Python
• Some experience in querying databases (e.g. SQL) and performing statistical analysis.
