Working at
Kisi

Kisi makes keys easy. We build mobile access systems that let businesses enter, share and monitor their physical spaces. We envision a world in which access is fully digitized, easy to manage, and not constrained by mechanical objects – keys are so 1989! We are a seed-funded and have offices on both sides of the phone. Our headquarter is in Brooklyn, NY (USA) and our product team is based out of Stockholm, Sweden – Europe’s premiere startup hub. We are a multinational, driven team working from NYC and Stockholm. We do primarily tech in our Stockholm-office and sales/marketing/admin in the NYC-office. It is a hard industry to become a player in, and selling hardware is always difficult. We really like to get our hands dirty, after all, we are software people working with hardware.   Although we all work in different offices and with different projects, we share what we are currently working on to ensure that everyone knows what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and what deadlines need to be met. We tend to work at the office all day, to make sure we get stuff done. Other than a little bit of structure, we keep an informal tone within the team, and we value open communication. At Kisi, we are long-term focused: we’re building long-term relationships with our customers. Plus, we want people to think no longer of keys. That obviously requires time.
