Baetes is an up-and-coming startup that's looking to modernize e-commerce by bringing customer interaction digital products to the next generation. Our goal is to create a process that allows our clients to digitalize their products using robust and streamlined technologies.

We are looking for a driven electromechanical engineering intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work with the core engineering team to make important design decisions and be integral to the R&D process. Many of the projects that you will be working on will be focused around UX and creating a seamless customer experience by implementing robust and streamlined technologies.

The projects will primarily consist of designing electro-mechanical systems in our next generation of 3D scanners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in researching, designing, and producing electro-mechanical systems
• Integrate mechanical, software, and electrical systems into streamlined processes
• Source parts and components for designs
• Participate in design meetings and developing R&D roadmaps

What we want to see in you:

• Knowledge of mechanical principles, electrical design, and software
• Experience with CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
• Experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)

The duration of the internship can be discussed based on your availability, but the duration would ideally be for 3 months. Outstanding performance will likely lead to a full-time offer.
