We are a fintech SaaS from Stockholm that has been in business for two years. We are currently working on scaling our solution and need a skilled developer to take part in our journey. You will be the first in-house developer and you have the chance to create your own role – you set the limits. Initially we need you the be hands-on with the code, but you have the chance to grow, do you want to be a future tech lead, system architect or specialist? You decide.

What is PCT?

We offer a user-friendly SaaS-solution designed to minimize the time spent on keeping track of, following up and planning recurring tasks and processes. It has been very well received by the so far 23 paying clients within the financial services industry. 

Background

It all started when we worked with a growing business operation in the financial sector. In our daily job, we had to make sure that numerous recurring tasks were carried out accurately. While scouting for software tools to support us, we discovered that current solutions mainly focus on completing single tasks or projects - not recurring tasks.

In order to make our life easier we then decided to build the software that was missing in the marketplace. It soon turned out that other companies were interested in buying that software too - so we thought why not try to conquer the world! 

What have we achieved so far?

•     We have an MVP that now has MRR from 23 customers. 
•     Have well-known customers like Länsförsäkringar Fonder, AMF Fonder, ISEC Services, Quesada Kapitalförvaltning etc.
•     Admitted to Sting, the leading incubator and accelerator in the Nordics.

We need you to bring the product to the next level while we keep on growing the business and building strong relationships with our clients and partners.

What’s your role?

Your primary task will be to develop the next generation of the product. You will work closely with us and our clients to plan and prioritize between features and build a flexible and scalable platform.

Over time we would like you to take responsibility of the development process and together with us build the best possible tech team and create a market leading product.

You will have the chance to create your own role going forward. We need someone passionate who wants to grow with us and the company.

•     JavaScript (planned transition to React or similar framework)

Skills & Requirements

Who are you?

We believe that you are a back-end developer with some front-end experience. More specifically, we believe that you have

•     software development experience; preferably in Python/Django
•     experience working with web servers; preferably NGINX and/or Apache;
•     experience working with microservices, e.g. Docker; and
•     experience working with SQL and relational databases

In addition to the above, it's an advantage if you have:

•     experience within architecture, integration and security; and
•     experience working with JavaScript and/or JavaScript-based frameworks.

What’s important to us is not that you fulfil every requirement as long as you have relevant experience, but that you have a genuine interest in the technologies that we work with and a strong desire to be part of building a global product!
