We are looking for a Frontend Developer to work as part of our Product Development team. The team’s role is to develop, maintain and monitor the applications that Baffin Bay Networks offers. Building reliable, scalable and maintainable software products that gives the customer a solid experience is our primary task.

Working as a front end developer is fun, especially when you do it with people who share the same idea of what makes a good workplace, great. At Baffin Bay Networks we design a security product that should be easy to use, and we employ all sorts of people from all kinds of backgrounds to bring them to life.

All our front end applications are developed in React and we are building our back end system as microservices that run in Docker containers on a Kubernetes cluster. Our microservices are developed in C# (.NET Core) and Node.JS.

We are constantly working to improve our tools, techniques and processes in order to keep us at the forefront of modern software development practices.

Your Role Within The Company

In this role you will work on various development projects focused on delivering new and updated features for customers. Your main area of responsibility will be front end JavaScript development in React, but other front end related tasks may also be assigned to you as well.

Responsibilities:

• Build new user-facing features
• Write readable and maintainable code that runs and tests our front end applications
• Work with and develop our software development principles and practices
• Be a key-player in our team - providing input and taking initiatives for our use of cutting edge technologies and concepts
  
  

Profile:

• Experience with modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with ReactJS
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A team player who doesn't hesitate to help out a colleague in need
