Let’s face it, invoicing sucks. But it doesn't have to be that way, and that’s something Billogram has already proven. We’ve transformed billing into a positive part of the customer experience, by inventing the digitally shared invoice.

Billogram is a fintech startup whose goal is to transform invoicing from a stale payment request into a shared and interactive meeting place that creates value for both businesses and consumers. In short, we want to move the focus of invoicing from the transaction to the relationship.

We’ve recently gone through a successful pivot towards larger companies, and today we see ourselves as a ´B2B2C´ company whose role is to facilitate a financial relationship between a business and their customers. As more companies are starting to use Billogram, delivering a smooth onboarding process is essential. This also means that the technical implementation towards our API becomes more important than ever. It’s in fact crucial and that’s why we need you.  

The role

You will be the boss of everything involving integration, primarily taking ownership for integrations towards Billogram’s own API (RESTful JSON). You will have to make sure that the file integrations will be robust enough to handle all eventualities, such as crashes, and also maintain the server environment where the integrations exist.​

Together with Dev, Sales, Customer Relations and our Project Manager, you will take in client requests, specifications and feedback, before creating the right solution for each specific client. When needed, we even build specific API-solutions for our customers. With each integration being different, this position will be far from boring or repetitive.

The role also involves maintaining and rebuilding existing integrations and optimising onboarding processes. By planning and creating solutions for our clients you’ll have large impact on how things are done both now and in the future.

Who we think you are

You are a proactive and curious engineer, who’s eager to find new efficient ways of working. You also understand the importance of delivering high quality service throughout the whole integration/implementation and onboarding process.

You have experience of working with integrations, as well as backend development. Any previous experience of working with Python and AWS, means you’ll get a head start.
