“Knitted for You” is an online company that offers custom made items knitted by women who are passionate about knitting. Our company is currently looking for internship level web developers with the following skills: php, mysql, javascript, good online communication and highly dependable. Our company provides opportunities for artisans while creating products that are sustainable that appeal to customers who appreciate quality. You will take part of the development of the websites.

The company today has two web pages:

http://motif.knittedforyou.com/ (Motif)  

On the KfY website you can order custom made clothes. Here we showcase several inspirational items and we plan to make it possible for the customers to design their items as well. 

On the Motif website users can create motifs to knit. They see the knitted image and can play with the colors before they start knitting. 

We are looking for interns who enjoy working with this type of content and are passionate about creating websites.

The sites are based on prestashop.

Most importantly however, is to be open-minded and excited about making a contribution to the development of KfY. This is a great learning opportunity. You will be able to work from home or from Ideon Backstage, Lund. We will have a weekly online meetings and ongoing communication on an as-needed basis.

If you like web development and enjoy being involved in development process with a goal to empower others while supporting sustainable practices, this is the opportunity for you. 

Work Conditions

You can work from home when you wish or you can utilize an open space place. At our first meeting, we will make a mutual agreement on the amount of time that you will commit to this internship. It is up to you how much you work.  

After 3 months of fulfilling the requirements of the internship, you will get a letter of recommendation and a sweater of your choice. 

The start date is ongoing until the right candidate is found.
