We are looking for a Platform Web Developer to build and design frontend solutions that make it easier for our clients to reach and use Gleechi’s VirtualGrasp software. You will join in the accelerating stage of a startup that just received a major funding to accelerate growth internationally. You will report directly to our CPO as a part of our new product team that keeps full responsibility of Gleechi’s software as a product, with strong links and communication to all other members of our diverse team of ca. 20 people, be it VR developers, ML engineers, or sales and business teams. You will take the technical lead on building up the frontend systems that will allow Gleechi to make the next big step on its path to becoming the standard solution for hand interaction in virtual reality games, virtual reality training, stroke rehabilitation, and robotics.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop intuitive, high quality front end content for customers and partners that work with development or training in VR and games.
• Own the Usability Design aspects of the development process of customer and partner facing web content
• Develop Web/UI development standards and create and maintain style guides
• Develop User Interface artifacts and component, screen prototypes, including content management templates, help system, personas, and scenarios
• Collaborate with the developers to develop storyboards, prototypes, and presentations along with an integrated final product
• Enhance SEO, functionality, & accessibility of our web-based application
• Work closely with back-end/Devops/Cloud, creating synergies, using best practices CI/CD

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proficiency with HTML and CSS (experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript / jQuery desired)
• Experience with responsive layout and design, preferably with Bootstrap framework
• Experience in website usability & content strategy
• Proficiency working with RESTful APIs and JSON data
• Understanding authentication systems and protocols - OAuth 2/SAML
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, Angular.js, Node.js, and React.js
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques
• Strong visual design sense and appreciation for development with a client experience focus
• Clear communication skills (written and oral) and an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Experience of design tools (e.g Adobe CS or equivalent) is a plus
• Experience of SQL, No-SQL a plus
