Who we are 🤔

“The Spotify of logistics”. That’s how Göteborgs-Posten (local newspaper) choose to describe us. Maybe, it’s because we’re now one of Gothenburg’s fastest growing tech startups.

So, what does Sendify do? Well, we have built a smart freight booking system, which makes shipping as simple as booking a taxi with Uber or booking an apartment through airbnb For our customers, small-medium-businesses, shipping becomes effortless, so that they can spend less time and money on logistics and more time on growing their businesses.

Our HQ is located at Vasagatan in Gothenburg, where we are 18 employees (3 of us sit in Lviv, Ukraine). We all share the vision to empower small companies through smart logistics, and together build a creative and innovative workspace. We strive for an inspiring and including startup culture, and we are proud of our initiative Women’s Startup Club and our participation at events, e.g Gbg Tech Week.

Being a Product Designer at Sendify 🖥 + 🎨 + 🤯

• You’ll design experiences that make shipping fast, easy and trustworthy. With the small shipper, always in mind.

• You’ll care about building reusable design systems and solutions, based on best practices within usability, accessibility, performance, and aesthetics.

• You’ll partner with other Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Content Strategists to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and create new products and services.

• You’ll evolve and improve our products: Evaluate, critique, update, and optimize your work to deliver the best user experiences

• You’ll deliver mocks and assets in a timely manner

• You’ll be a great critic, ready to challenge and question assumptions, ideas and solutions. Always, with a positive tone and constructive wording.

• Be comfortable with and live by “freedom with responsibility”

Requirements 📝

• A passion for building great products, experiences, and great design, that follows web standards, our principles and best practices.

• Curious. You always look for ways to evolve and improve.

• You should know how to build products using modern design tools and processes through practice. We mainly use Figma and Design Thinking methodologies. It’s cool if you haven’t. You’ll be up and running before you know it.

• You’re positive and energetic, participating in design critiques, and pushing yourself and others to make the team better, happier and stronger.

• 1+ years industry experience

Nice if you have 😀

• Experience with modern Web Development technologies (React, ES6 +, HTML, CSS, etc.)

• Experience with using Web Development tools such as Wordpress (PHP, ACF), Instapage, SaaS etc.

• Built and shipped solutions for other Web Products.
