We are an artificial intelligence and social robotics startup with the vision to make interaction with technology truly human. Our product is the most expressive and customizable social robot on the market, powered by a state-of-the-art multi-modal conversational platform and a developer suite used by 3rd party developers to build robot apps.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software team. You will work on all aspects of the platform - the software running on the robot, the virtual simulation environment used by 3rd party developers as well as various cloud services and tools. The role will demand of you to determine the best way to quality assure a brand new type of applications - real-time multi-modal social robot applications. Hence, your efforts will play an instrumental role in the robustness and quality of the product.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you would: 

• Design test plans against various system components and implement them, including the initial testing framework 
• Write and deploy monitoring tools to monitor the health of the various deployed systems 
• Black-box release test of new features
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to write acceptance tests
• Review product specs, code, and design documents for bugs or QA related issues
• Be the champion for consistently high quality in the engineering team

We would like that you have: 

• >= BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• >=4 years relevant work experience
• Experience in industry standard testing methodologies and tools
• Experience programming in Java and Javascript
• Experience implementing and working with test frameworks and solutions such as JUnit and Jest
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
• Ability to design and architect test solutions for various ambiguous quality challenges
• Ability to write complex test scripts that are portable, reusable, and maintainable
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
