Every day, content conversion specialists are using our system to extract and structure content from thousands of print documents manually. We are now looking for a senior developer to help us evolve our tech stack to automate fundamental parts in the process of content conversion.

We are looking for a senior backend developer to join our team, helping us to increase the preservation and accessibility of the stories of our time to anyone - today and tomorrow. 

You will build the backend systems that power our applications and continuously improve the system scalability, and above all, your work will impact the way stories get accessible to anyone.

• Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and designers to solve challenging problems.
• Architect, develop and deploy services that serve thousands of users each day.
• Write clear and maintainable code that will scale across distributed development teams.

Who you are

• You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• You want to ensure accessibility of what's important. 
• You are passionate about contributing your knowledge and skills into great products that will have a big impact on society. 
• You have a deep understanding of the business goals which you can translate into tech.
• You are an experienced software developer with several years of development and experience in C/C++, PHP, XSLT, SQL, and Java.
