We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with a growth mindset to join our Stockholm HQ office. Working at hitta.se, you are tasked with everything from solving interesting technical challenges, such as within AI and machine learning, maintaining software used by millions every week, and with developing new features and products from design through implementation and launch.

What you’ll do:

• Architect, design, develop, deploy and operate mostly Java but also node.js services that will serve millions of users
• Be a leader of the hitta.se-wide backend developer community affecting and driving our architecture

What we're looking for:

• You have strong technical (Java, node.js) skills
• You have a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
• You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code
• You can quickly scope the size and feasibility of projects of all sizes
