Responsibilities / About the job

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code
Integration of transaction based solutions. (May include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Identify bottlenecks, security concerns, as well as performance issues
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatizations

Desired Skills

Experience with OO JavaScript, along with other common libraries.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as React/Ember/Angular, HTML5, and CSS3
Used to produce unit- and integration tests
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
You like to ship high-quality, secure and performant products
Solution oriented approach on challenges

Desired Experience

Experience from backend development in Ruby, PHP, Go, .NET or similar
Front End design (CSS/HTML5/JavaScript/) is a big plus.
Experience with larger systems, architecture, AWS, DevOps
IT project planning is a plus
