Dreams is a fintech company founded in Stockholm in 2013. On a daily basis our savings app empowers, inspires and help our users save money, in order for them to fulfill their dreams. Now we need a new member to our costumer support team — a team playing and service minded engineer who wants a part in scaling our business for a european expansion.


With a diverse team from different backgrounds such as banking, behavioral research, marketing, branding and AI we’ve built a strong foundation for the Dreams app. Drawing on mechanics and influences from each of our unique perspectives Dreams offers something quite unique on the European fintech-market: a great looking and fun app using (among other things) behavioral economics and brain research to really help and motivate our users to make a positive financial change.

Your part in Dreams

Happy costumers is our no.1 priority, and in order to maintain our fantastic level of service we need to expand the customer support team with an engineer. Your role is both new and much needed and you’ll be a central part in scaling and re-defining how we do costumer support at Dreams before our European expansion.

Daily tasks will include helping our support agents investigate and resolve customer-related issues. Whenever a situation arises, you are their go-to person and will act as a bridge between the customer and engineering teams. Needless to say, you will be playing a crucial part in the Dreams-team and we imagine you think it sounds pretty inspiring to work side by side with our support agents, solving problems in order to make sure our customers keep dreaming.

Who are you?

You should have a background doing development and coding. Be it web development or systems engineering, you should be familiar with concepts like databases, SCM, debugging and the surrounding concepts.

We think you are comfortable discussing some of the following technical ideas:

- HTML and styling with CSS

- Templating frameworks (React, ERB, Slim, Mustache/Handlebars)

- Rudimentary database queries (aggregates, selects et cetera)

- Basic Linux administration (SSH, key pairs et cetera)

- Experience with any fairly modern backend language: Python, Go, NodeJS, Ruby or even PHP

What to expect

You will be the 35th person in the team — most of us work from our Stockholm HQ but we have remote colleagues around the world, as well as a newly set up Oslo office. We’re a diverse, dynamic and inclusive team made up of 13 different nationalities, and a labrador. We work at Dreams because whenever a customer gets in touch thanking us for making his or her dreams come true it melts our hearts. But also because Dreams is one of the most talked-about startups on the fintech-scene, and has embarked on what will be a remarkable journey which we are both passionate and proud to be part of.
