We're now looking for a co-founder, a candidate that can take on the role to lead the tech development forward. You will join a team of creatives and technologists in the field of SaaS, design and IoT. In the role as our Tech Lead your responsibilities and tasks will be lead and execute the development from prototype to market and scale.

Byggler is a fast-paced startup set out to disrupt the home professional service business using big data analytics, automations and integrations. You will lead the company in terms of technology decisions, development process and operations. You will not only write code but also lead the sprints and help carve out our product roadmap.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Your main duty will be to take Byggler from prototype/development stage to the market; to translate technical requirements into a product in a fast start-up environment. As a person are you a team-leader, hungry for knowledge and enjoys both designing big-picture architecture along side with implementing clever efficient solutions.

• Most likely you have a MSc in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience and hopefully in a start-up or scale-up environment. You have experience in leading a multidisciplinary development team with software development (React.js, Java, C++, SQL and other programming languages). If you have experience from Cloud computing (Azure, AWS or similar), App development (iOS, Android) and/or hardware development we would be even happier.

• You will build and expand the technology organisation by creating a cutting edge tech culture and be involved in enhancing daily work and support the team of talented and passionate developers as the team grow.

• You are responsible for the deliveries of the tech organisation, and you fulfil that by supporting, mentoring and coaching the team members.

​Your Technical Expertise

Backend

• Backend related programming, Databases, or API Calls (Google Maps, Twitter, Facebook, others)

Frontend

• You enjoy working on the Frontend (User Interface) and are skilled in developing creative solutions
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and some modern framework for the frontend.
• Experience in the Bootstrap framework (in which Nordic Adventours layout is defined)

General

• Previous experience with the development of booking systems or the implementation of payment gateways is a huge plus!

Tasks

• Craft completely new features on the platform, extend and improve existing ones
• Working with mySQL databases and managing data
• Come up with ways to implement Social Media or Tourism APIs natively into the platform
