 Yepstr is looking for a talented designer that will create awesome user experiences and make the world a better place at the same time. Here you’ll have the opportunity to join us in a super exciting growth period but still the early days of the company.

We are looking for someone who loves to combine thoughtful, beautiful design and a user experience that makes the UI intuitive, simple and fun to use – how it feels to use a product is as important as how it looks.

As a UX designer at Yepstr you will get the chance to be the guardian of the overall user experience in our product. Your primary focus will be, together with the rest of the product team, prioritize and create new concepts for flows and functionality and improve our foundation as you go. 

To your help you have our, very much, engaged community giving you the opportunity to conduct user tests and interviews with our existing users. Together with your gut and feel you’ll have complete access to our analytics tools to take data driven decisions.

With your work you’ll make everyday life better for families while at the same time helping young people to their first jobs.

You are someone who likes to take control of the entire design process and you’re full of initiative. You will be surrounded by a great, ambitious and curious team who loves to listen, discuss ideas and help out in anyway they can. At Yepstr you’ll both give and receive tasks from others. Collaboration is crucial. You’ll share your learnings and victories on team meetings and smaller focus groups. This is a workplace where you have the chance to grow as a team mate and designer.

Responsibilities 

• With an analytical mindset (together with a fellow UI-designer) create user friendly, engaging and innovative design solutions and concepts for our mobile app. 
• Design solutions that are in sync with the overall experience of Yepstr. Collaborating with a UI-focused designer and our marketing team go from low fidelity wireframes and ideas to production ready design.
• Plan and conduct user interviews. Quantitative and Qualitative.
• Iterate your design based on feedback from the team and our users and user data.
• By yourself and with the rest of the team create new concepts and ideas for the app that are inline with our overall key objectives.
• Continue to grow as a designer. Create a plan for yourself and your skills, specialize in certain areas or learn completely new things to take us to the next level.

We are looking for someone who ...

• Is autonomous and a self-starter. Someone who can create a plan for themselves and hold themselves accountable for execution.
• Can show previous relevant experience and has designed for mobile devices (web, iOS and/or Android)
• Is curious. You read up on new and current design and tech trends, competitive apps or take inspiration from completely different industries to make Yepstr a better company and product.
• Is a creative, responsible and goal-oriented person
• Is fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
• Is a team player. We are a small growing company - We take care of each other, listen and help out. To take and give feedback is a natural part of our work.
