With the mission to eliminate waste in farming, Vultus offers satellite based fertiliser prescriptions. This helps farmers save 30% of fertilizers, leading to improved sustainability and production. Currently, we reach out to the equivalent of triple Sweden’s growing area, working across Europe and Asia. Within this customer base, we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 1.3 million tonnes of CO2 per year, about the same as Maltas’ yearly emissions.

The position

Vultus is developing a world class solution to eliminate waste in farming. Utilizing modern microservices architecture on cloud computing environment, we are deploying our remote sensing and agronomy research finding at a large scale. As a part of the development team, the scope of this position is to manage the integration of Vultus API with our partners and customers. Our API acts as a major piece of infrastructure to our clients, providing insights and imagery to thousands of farmers across vast areas. We seek someone who can join our development team with focus on facilitating integrations of our API with clients, as well as further develop the API functionality. As such, you will be customer facing, interact with various different web services as well as our internal service pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Handle and support integration of Vultus API to various clients
• Further develop our API to improve ease of integration and functionality
• Coordinate and implement transition of our product with clients and partners, including international customer visits
• Determine and provide solutions when operational issues arise
• Assess and track technical implementation constraints

Qualifications

• MS degree in IT Systems Development/Computer Science
• Experience with Rest API and integration with web applications
• “gateway integration using web services”
• Experience with AWS and Mongo DB
• Preferably experienced with Visual Studio Code IDE
• Extensive experience with javascript, node js and various js frameworks such as React & Angular
• Ability to travel to clients on highly recurring basis
• Preferably experienced with Visual Studio Code IDE
