Sting invests in all industries, except from pharma. They evaluate 450-500 projects annually, and accept about 25 companies per year. The Sting Accelerate program accepts startups both from Sweden and from abroad.

Experience

Sting’s team consists of previous entrepreneurs, CEOs and venture capitalists with many years’ experience from fundraising and building and running companies. Since the start in 2002, Sting has worked with over 200 startups, of which 72% are still active. Sting companies have raised €400 million in funding.

How much do they invest?

Sting invests 300.000 SEK in each startup accepted to Sting Accelerate. Startups accepted to Sting Incubate can also receive 300.000 SEK in financing, a funding decision is made within 6 months’ participation in the program.

How do they work?

You can apply to Sting Accelerate twice a year via an online application form. The evaluation ends with a pitch day in Stockholm. Sting Incubate has three start dates spread out over the year. The evaluation process is primarily done in individual meetings. Contact a coach to get started.
