Operations Engineer CopenHost & Kontainer

CopenHost is a hosting company dedicated to providing reliable and GDPR-compliant hosting services to clients such as Kræftens Bekæmpelse, Wood Wood, Meebook, Kontainer etc.

 

You will work closely with a team of talented, dedicated, and friendly colleagues who ensure the hosting of external clients, as well as marketing, sales, onboarding, and the development of our own software, Kontainer DAM & PIM.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining our hosting infrastructure.

  • Developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement of operational processes and efficiency.

  • Handling incidents, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across the infrastructure.

  • Customer support (minimal).

 

Personal qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies and private cloud computing is an advantage.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related fields.

 

Expert-level technical skills:

  • Security at all layers of professional operation.

  • Network routing, firewall setup, VPN setup, and DNS setup.

  • Linux installation and configuration.

  • DevOps setup and automation.

  • Knowledge of web applications, including scripting languages and databases.

  • Configuration of HTTP servers, proxy servers, and advanced caching.
