Want to join a team which build extremely transaction intensive cloud based environments with high performance requirements? We are a new startup developing software for the gaming/betting industry. We are all senior in the business, coming from some of the biggest gaming companies and we have very solid investors. Our aim is to find a different approach to gaming software and use state-of-the-art technologies to get there. We are around 15 people, located in central Stockholm.

We are growing quickly and now need to expand our team with an operations/devops function. For us, that means helping the developers with everything they can’t handle themselves in terms of infrastructure, network and servers. This also includes software for continuous integration and continuous deployment. We trust that you feel comfortable with both cloud based and remote physical infrastructure. In the future we also might need to have more than one hosting site as well, which will add complexity.

You have at least some of the following skills and is eager to learn what is needed along the way:

• Managing AWS
• Nginx management experience
• JVM management
• Node.js management
• Experience in container software like Docker, Rocket
• Running clustered applications on Linux platforms
• Linux administration
• Python, Ruby and Shell scripting
• Hardware procurement
• Load balancing
• Bamboo
• Git/Bitbucket
• Database management knowledge, both relational and nosql
• Monitoring
• Network management, both WIFI, firewall, switches etc
• OS X administration (Office IT)
• Microsoft administration (Office IT)

Preferably you have a developer background, and understand the needs from a development point of view. It’s a plus if you have experience from the gaming/betting industry. Personality wise, we see that you are a self driven, enthusiastic and a happy person that wants to get things done.
