The Service

Our service provides an easy and seamless digital experience for selling and buying an apartment. Our algorithmic valuation tool estimates the value of your apartment based on actual transactions. Our platform enables buyers to make bids for apartments electronically. Additionally, the platform also automates nearly all routine tasks of the real estate agent, making the whole process extremely cost-efficient. The most important aspect of our service is not however all the technical innovation, but our focus on customer happiness, which has steadily measured in the 80-90 range on the NPS scale.

 

The Role

After expanding to the Swedish market in Q4/2019 we are now looking for an ambitious and insightful individual to manage our marketing operations in the Swedish market. You’ll be a key player in our local Swedish team located in Stockholm as well as part of the Swedish leadership team, currently consisting of our General Manager and Lead Real Estate Agent. You’ll also be part of the Global Marketing team working closely with Blok HQ located in Helsinki, Finland. Additionally, you’ll have at your disposal a local marketing agency that will support you in reaching your objectives.

Your objective is to 1) increase the brand awareness of Blok on the Swedish market 2) constantly build and iterate our marketing funnels for higher value and conversion 3) create and document transferable marketing insights to be used across markets.

You’ll be joining the local operation at a very early stage and your objective is to ramp up Blok’s marketing operations. As a part of the local team, you will be implementing and iterating Blok’s growth plan and are responsible for customer acquisition.

 

The Objective

This role is ideal for young professionals with prior experience within growth and marketing in startups who want to gain more experience and build their careers in an exciting company and business model that has already gained significant traction on other markets!

  • Construct, test and iterate growth loops to fuel customer acquisition

  • Run and document growth experiments across full spectrum of customer acquisition channels

  • Monitor customer acquisition costs and optimize marketing spend across channels

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and assisting in improving the customer experience together with our design and development team

  • Collecting, analyzing and reporting data to HQ

  • Unplanned tasks that may vary on a daily basis and short notice

  • Close work with the rest of the country team as well as the entire company

 

The Qualifications

  • Data driven and analytical. You systematically test different approaches and tactics to hone in on the most efficient solution.

  • Project management abilities with operational experience from running marketing in a consumer business

  • Business acumen. Strong on generating new marketing concepts that support business goals.

  • Skill to communicate with internal/external stakeholders

  • Flexible problem solver. You aim high, easily adapt to rapid changing circumstances and find solutions to issues on the go.

  • Outgoing and like public speaking. You enjoy interacting with people, can adapt your message to the receiver and do not hesitate to speak in front of a bigger group.

  • Growth mindset. You seek out to test new ideas and learn from both failures and successes.

  • Self-Starter. You are proactive and have a “can-do” attitude.

  • Schedule flexibility. You are willing to work outside of regular business hours from time to time.

  • Language proficiency. Native in Swedish and fluent in English.
