Storyspot is a fresh startup that develops a platform where users can record, share and listen to mini podcasts and audio stories that they link to places. Together we create a crowdsourced audio guide to the whole world. Now we are looking for a software engineer (maybe you?) to be responsible for our further development and structure. For the right person there is also the opportunity to become partner / co-founder.

Today, Storyspot is live in the App Store, Google Play and at www.storyspot.io but we have not yet launched "for real". We believe in testing live and have close contact with users and customers in order to develop what they are looking for in our service. So far a large number of institutions have shown they believe in the idea and we have received support from both Vinnovas Innovative Startups, Tillväxtverket and Google for Entreprenuers. We are currently located at Epicenter in Stockholm city and have many exciting collaborations on our way to becoming the global platform for location based storytelling.

Now we are looking for you who want to develop and be responsible for Storyspots software development and structure. So far we have worked with freelancers and external App Agencies, but it is obviously not ideal and has led to the fact that smaller problems are never resolved. It´s time for that to change! We want you to take a holistic approach on the interaction between web, app and database and together with us in the team create a solution that will make the user come back again, and again and again.

Today we work in React Native, Node.js and Mongo DB.
