Hejbarn.se är en tjänst i form av en webbsajt som samlar barnaktiviteter i städerna. Vår startup är en del av Chalmers Ventures och vi är en del av CV-accelerator. Du är personen som förstår och skapar ett självklart samband mellan design, interaktion och funktionalitet - making the magic happen.

Hejbarn.se wants to help parents to create memorable moments together with their children and improve our city, Gothenburg, to become more welcoming towards families with kids.

Stationed in the venues of Stena Center, we are surrounded by many different Start-Ups, which contributes to a creative environment and a big network of other entrepreneurs. We are a part of Chalmers’ portfolio and are thereby coached toward becoming a strong company.

In our team of ten, the slogan is a community and our motto is to have fun every day. We all have separate tasks and responsibilities, but we work close together and run HejBarn towards a common goal.

We are looking for a person who shares our values and wants to help us reaching our goals. In other words, we want a person who believes that it is possible to create a better society by making activities for kids more accessible for all families!

As a person you are constantly seeking new skills and sharing these among your peers. You have a strong drive to create beautiful, functional and high quality solutions that delight customers. You have excellent problem solving skill, are full of energy and are always willing to help. As our UI/UX Designer you would be a key member of our team, working closely with our development team and taking an active role to ensure the delivery of a flawless working product.

REQUIREMENTS

• You deliver great user experiences that are useful (doing the right thing), easy to use (doing it right), beautiful and on brand (appealing).
• You are a designer at heart, with a keen eye for beautiful and on brand design and user interfaces.
• Your designs are based on customer insights and requirements learned from workshops you run with users, clients and stakeholders.
• You iterate your ideas and designs until you have achieved a good balance between technical constraints, business requirements and user needs.
• Technically minded, perhaps you coded websites in HTML/CSS and responsive too. As a result you gained an appreciation of how things are built, allowing you to be at ease with developers, listening, learning, debating and articulating your design decisions.
• Your skills cover Graphics Design and Information Architecture
• Experience of UX tooling, specifically Sketch, InVision, and Photoshop. 
• You already posses an online portfolio that demonstrates user-centric thinking ingenuity and design skills.
• Fluent in English, both writing and speaking, Spanish is a plus

This is a half time position (20 hours per week) for the first 3 months, after that will be the possibility to change to full time.
