Job description

Are you a university student who wants to gain experience in marketing and event co-ordination?

Location: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Lund, Uppsala, any UNIVERSITY CAMPUS.

As a Uni Brand Ambassador it’s your job to get as many people talking about, posting about and chewing BLOCKHEAD gum! As well as this, we want you to use your imagination to come up with ideas to maximise awareness and sales. You can establish your own pop-up store, try getting it stocked in your uni shop or local shops around campus or nearby stores, work with university clubs or societies, approach influential people around campus to work with… the skies the limit!

If you have an idea about a new product, we want to know about it. Have an idea about a huge PR stunt, let’s hear it! We want you to put your ideas into practice, gain valuable experience and have a lot of fun along the way.

 With the support of BLOCKHEAD, you will be given resources to help support the brand establishment on your campus, from flyers to samples, competitions, merchandise and apparel. This is the perfect opportunity to create some excitement.

As a brand Ambassador, you are encouraged to take the initiative and come up with your own ideas on how to market our brand to our target group – University students.

About the position

  • As a Brand Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to build your network and develop your marketing skills during your studies. You, a student, are in touch with one of our main target groups, so we are happy to support you with any of the ideas and initiatives you may bring to us on how we can develop our marketing and sales on and around campus.
  • The role is a fun mix of marketing and sales, which will assist you develop experience for your future career. We offer a flexible extra job opportunity.
  • You work independently or potentially as a team, depending on the number of team members we or you recruit. You will be based on your campus, and depending on location, may have the opportunity to work at different universities.  
  • Reporting to the Sales manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for actively promoting the BLOCKHEAD products and ensuring sales are generated to enhance revenue opportunities.

Duties

  • Identify opportunities for sales opportunities on and around campus.
  • Prepare, coordinate and conduct events at the universities with the aim of promoting our products and strengthening our brand.
  •  Post about events, on social media and on campus. If you have access to student bulletin boards and admin to Fraternity pages, this is a big advantage.
  • Conduct sampling and make sales at suitable opportunities to bring brand awareness to our products. With the aim to increase sales.

The role is suitable for those who like to create networks and who want to develop in marketing. Who can work independently to come up with a plan and action that plan.

About you

  • You study at a University in Stockholm, or a University campus in Sweden. Please indicated which University or college you attend so we can take this into consideration.
  • We prefer that you are studying for at least another 12 months as we want a candidate who can have a big impact for the longer term.
  • You should have good experience in a service profession. And able to conduct yourself well handling and dealing with different types of people in a professional way.
  • Speaks well in both Swedish and English preferred, as communication with all students is key

It can be an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in marketing or sales.
  • An existing network of students on your campus.
  • You are engaged ideally in, for example, union or association activities and have good contact with the associations / fraternities.

We would like to see you as someone who has great commitment and that you are able to start activities towards a desired result and hit your target. We also hope you can contribute new ideas and initiatives on how we can reach our target group.

Other information

  • Start: August/ September
  • Scope: Varies depending on season, but about 20h a month, work in the evenings and weekends may occur. Of course, we take into account what your schedule looks like.
  • Location: Stockholm and Swedish University campuses.


Remuneration

  •  Mix of commission and hourly wage depending on the situation.
